This cold air intake design incorporates urethane heat shields to ensure consistent performance by preventing hot engine compartment air from entering the intake tract. It draws air from behind the grille, optimizing performance. It offers improved acceleration with a claimed gain of 6WHP and 5WTQ, enhanced throttle response, and potentially better mileage per gallon due to improved airflow. The polished aluminum tubes and the overall design also contribute to an enhanced underhood appearance.
