Gen 2 Arced Rear Traction Bars

The Powerhouse Racing Gen 2 Adjustable Arced Rear Traction Bars are built to optimize suspension performance for 1993-1998 Toyota Supra and 1992-2001 Lexus SC300 and SC400 models. These bars are specifically recommended for those running 15-inch wheels with deep backspacing of 8.0 inches or greater. Featuring a 2-piece chromoly rod end construction and TIG-welded, gusseted clevis ends, they offer high strength and durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. In drag racing, these traction bars help eliminate wheel-hop and allow for the adjustment of spindle angles to fine-tune launch and down-track geometry. By increasing or decreasing pre-load, users can improve reaction times and control rear-end squat. For circuit racing, the bars improve bite on corner exit and vehicle response by replacing the soft factory bushings with rigid components. Note that replacing factory bushings with these performance bars may introduce additional road feedback into the chassis, as vibration is more easily transferred. The bars are finished in a black powder coat for corrosion resistance and long-term durability in varied driving environments.
