Gen 2 Cold Air Intake System

The BlackBoost Generation 2 Cold Air Intake System is specifically engineered for Mercedes-Benz S-Class models equipped with the M157 and M278 twin-turbo V8 engines. This redesigned system features a completely new layout and larger Oval Twin Flow high-flow dry filters to significantly improve airflow over the factory setup. The system boasts a newly developed airbox with an integrated engine cover, combining premium appearance with maximum functionality. The composite intake tubes include pre-incorporated 1/8 NPT ports for convenient future performance upgrades. The openable and closable filter covers allow for tailoring the intake system's characteristics to different applications. Designed for demanding performance applications, this intake system supports airflow requirements for builds producing over 1,000 horsepower. It offers a true Plug & Play installation, requiring no ECU tuning and will not trigger a check engine light. Proven power gains of 8 to over 30 horsepower have been observed on stock vehicles, alongside improved throttle response throughout the rev range.
