The BlackBoost USA Cold Air Intake System Gen 2 is an aftermarket intake designed for Mercedes-AMG E63(S) and GT63(S) models with the M177 LS2 4.0L V8 BiTurbo engine. This system aims to overcome the airflow restrictions of the factory airbox to deliver maximum airflow and lower intake temperatures.

The intake features CFD-developed plastic tubes, laser-cut aluminum airboxes with a black powder-coat finish, and high-flow dry filters. It is designed as a plug-and-play solution requiring no additional software tuning or ECU tuning and will not trigger a check engine light.

The BlackBoost USA Cold Air Intake System Gen 2 is engineered to enhance the performance of Mercedes-AMG E63(S) (W213/S213) and GT63(S) (X290) models equipped with the M177 LS2 4.0L V8 BiTurbo engine. This system directly addresses the restrictive nature of the factory airbox, aiming to significantly improve airflow and reduce intake air temperatures for noticeable performance gains. It utilizes large Oval Twin Flow dry filters, offering a substantially increased filtration surface area compared to the stock setup. The kit also includes an integrated 1/8th NPT port in the tube, making it ready for methanol injection. This intake system is capable of supporting configurations targeting over 1000+ WHP and works seamlessly with other modifications such as turbo upgrades and downpipes. The BlackBoost Cold Air Intake System Gen 2 is compatible with the following vehicles: E63(S) AMG (W213/S213) from 2017-2020, E63(S) AMG Facelift (W213/S213) from 2021+, and GT63(S) AMG (X290) from 2019+.
