Gen 2 Cruze Front Mount Intercooler Kit

The ZZP Gen 2 Cruze Front Mount Intercooler Kit is engineered from the ground up specifically for the LE2 powered 2nd generation Chevrolet Cruze. Utilizing 3D scans of the engine bay and chassis, ZZP designed this intercooler with custom cast end tanks to maximize core size and flow. This results in a significant increase in intercooler performance, nearly doubling the size of the stock unit. The primary benefit of this kit is the reduction of intake air temperatures (IAT2) and manifold air temperatures (MAT). Consistently lower air temperatures allow the engine's computer (PCM) to reference more accurate and cooler data, enabling it to maintain optimal boost levels and ignition timing. This translates to more consistent power delivery across multiple pulls, rather than a power drop-off after initial bursts, as cooler air is denser and inherently produces more power. This comprehensive kit includes the ZZP Intercooler core with integrated brackets, CNC mandrel-bent aluminum charge pipes, stainless T-bolt clamps, heavy-duty silicone couplers, a ZZP Billet Turbo Outlet, and all necessary hardware for installation. ZZP explicitly states that PCM tuning is not required for this intercooler upgrade. The ZZP intercooler core measures 25" x 7.25" x 4", compared to the stock intercooler's dimensions of 24" x 4.5" x 3.5". ZZP offers two versions of this kit: the "Stock Turbo" version is for vehicles with the factory turbocharger, while the "Z04 Turbo" version is exclusively for those equipped with a ZZP Z04 turbo. This intercooler kit is designed to fit 2016.5-2019 Chevrolet Cruze models with the 1.4L engine.
