The Active Autowerke G80/G82 M3/M4 Gen 2 Signature Equal Length mid-pipe is engineered to enhance the sound and performance of your BMW M-car. It addresses the stock exhaust's muffled tone, aiming to provide the exhilarating growl expected from an M-Series vehicle. This Gen 2 version features specially developed resonators to reduce exhaust rasp and the "2k buzzing" often heard in stock S58 engines, with minimal impact on overall volume. Constructed from durable 100% 304 brushed stainless steel, this mid-pipe boasts Active Autowerke's patented equal length technology, recognized with US Patent 11248511 and EU/UK patent 3882441. The design corrects the passenger side exhaust length to achieve a true equal length system, resulting in a smoother high-rev sound. It's compatible with most aftermarket exhaust systems and mufflers, and the stock mid-pipe can be reinstalled if desired. This product is part of the Active Autowerke Motorsport Collection and is intended for RACE and OFF-ROAD USE ONLY. A signed Off Road Use Only Waiver is required before shipment. Owners of cars with aftermarket downpipes are recommended to use the resonated version, though testing has primarily been done with stock and Active Autowerke downpipes and rear exhausts.
