The On 3 Performance 1994-1995 Mustang GT/Cobra turbo system is a comprehensive single turbo conversion kit tailored for the 1994-1995 Ford Mustang 5.0L SN95 platform. This Gen 2 kit introduces a redesigned manifold that allows for the retention of the factory A/C compressor and power steering. The engineering focuses on preserving creature comforts; specifically, the turbo placement and intercooler routing allow the stock ABS system to remain in place with original lines, eliminating the need for relocation or new brake line fabrication. Construction includes mild steel, forward-facing headers with a high-temp black finish and 1 5/8-inch primaries that feed into a 2.5-inch crossover pipe. The kit utilizes 304 stainless steel for the downpipe and intercooler piping, featuring a 2.5-inch to 3-inch stepped diameter transition. Headers are pre-welded with oxygen sensor bungs to maintain factory monitoring, and the downpipe includes an additional bung for wideband sensor integration. The system supports up to 650 wheel horsepower depending on vehicle capability. Note that while this is a bolt-on kit, some intercooler options, such as the 5-inch race core, may require bumper trimming for proper clearance. The kit includes a 7psi wastegate spring, with additional spring options available for users seeking higher base boost pressure.
