The Racingline Gen.3B Silicone Intake Hose (VWR12G7R602ITBLA) is designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement for the restrictive factory plastic "bellows" pipe that connects the airbox to the turbo inlet on specific 2.0 TSI Gen.3B 190PS engines. By replacing the factory pipe's turbulent, concertina design with a smooth, large-diameter bore, this hose ensures a cleaner and more consistent air supply to the turbocharger. The engine's movement under load can place stress on hard plastic or aluminum components, potentially leading to cracks over time. Silicone provides the necessary flexibility to accommodate engine movement, ensuring a durable, secure fit that withstands both daily driving and more demanding use. This intake hose is engineered exclusively for 2.0 TSI Gen.3B engines with a 190PS output. It is not compatible with 220, 230, 245, 265, 280, 290, 300, or 310PS variants, as these engines utilize a different turbo and intake configuration.
