The L&M Engines Gen 4 F-150 Sleeved & Reinforced 5.0L Coyote Engine Block is engineered to overcome the limitations of stock cylinder walls, which can fail under high horsepower conditions. L&M Engines offers a solution through their specialized Cylinder Sleeving Service. This engine block features in-house custom-designed, flanged, double-thick sleeves. These sleeves are installed using a proprietary nitrogen shrink-fit process, which guarantees proper contact between the block and sleeve for efficient heat transfer to the engine's cooling jacket. The block comes with machined decks featuring a proprietary finish, and all bores are semi-finished to a standard bore size, ready for further machining. Options are available to finish the block for assembly, including boring, honing, and washing.
