The Texas Speed & Performance Gen 5 DOD Delete Kit is engineered to remove the factory Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system from Gen 5 LT1, LT4, L83, L84, L86, and L87 engines. This kit is a critical step when installing a non-DOD camshaft and complements Texas Speed & Performance's cylinder head and camshaft packages. The kit's core components include 8 DOD plugs to effectively deactivate the system, with optional upgrades like Katech Valley Covers. It also features a GM Gen 5 Head Bolt Kit, with ARP bolts or studs offered as an upgrade. For proper lifter function, four LS2/LS3/LS7 lifter trays are included, along with necessary water pump gaskets and a front crank seal for the engine rebuild. Buyers can choose from various GM Gen 5 head gaskets to match their specific engine configuration. Additional optional components such as a VVT Camshaft Bolt, Balancer Bolt, and Valley Cover Gasket are also available.
