Gen 5 LT1/L83/L86 .660" Dual Spring Kit

The Texas Speed & Performance Gen 5 LT1/L83/L86 .660" Dual Spring Kit represents the latest in valve spring technology, utilizing advanced processes and materials from PAC Racing for extended spring life. Developed in partnership with PAC Racing, a leader in valve spring innovation, this kit features proprietary dual valve springs specifically engineered for the Gen 5 6.2L LT1 engine, which requires a taller installed height compared to traditional LS engines. These are not the same springs found in standard LS dual valve spring kits, but they incorporate the exclusive technology and polishing techniques found in PAC Racing valve springs. PAC Racing employs a proprietary nano-peening process, which enhances the wire's residual stress by tightly compressing molecules to improve the molecular bond, significantly reducing the risk of spring fatigue and failure. Installation is simplified with the patent-pending Precision Race Components integrated valve seat and seal, which eliminates the possibility of mis-installation or tearing of the valve seal. The kit includes PRC Integrated Spring Seats & Valve Seals, PAC Racing Gen 5 LT1-Specific Polished Dual Valve Springs, and Titanium Retainers (utilizing GM factory valve stem locks, which are not included). Specifications include an install height of 1.900", 160 lb. closed spring pressure @ 1.900", 406 lb. open spring pressure @ .650" lift, 425 lb. open spring pressure @ .700" lift, a recommended maximum spring lift of .660", and a coil bind height of 1.09".
