Description

The Vintage Air Gen 5 SureFit Complete Kit provides a comprehensive air conditioning and heating solution for 1967-1972 Chevrolet and GMC truck models that were not originally equipped with factory air. This kit replaces old cable and vacuum-operated systems with an exclusive, fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled unit, delivering faster cooling and improved diagnostic capabilities. The system features a high-performance, quiet blower and high-density aluminum heat exchangers contained within an injection-molded case for strength and precision. Key components include an OEM block-type expansion valve, rubber well-nut mounting points to reduce noise and vibration, and an electronic control panel. This complete kit includes all necessary hardware for installation, including the evaporator kit, compressor and bracket, condenser with mounting brackets, preformed refrigerant lines, drier, and all required fittings. Please note this kit is specifically for models without factory air; it is not compatible with factory air configurations.
