The Vintage Air 961272 is a complete, 5th generation SureFit climate control system engineered for 1964-1965 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino vehicles that did not originally come with factory air conditioning. This advanced system employs a fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled operation, negating the need for traditional cables or vacuum connections. It incorporates state-of-the-art, high-density aluminum heat exchangers for maximum performance and reliability, ensuring rapid vent temperature adjustment through separate, high-capacity A/C and heater coils with a blend air door. Features also include variable blower speed control and dash/floor/defrost blend capabilities. This comprehensive kit includes everything required for installation, encompassing the evaporator unit, compressor with bracket, condenser with brackets, preformed refrigerant lines, drier, various fittings, mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions.
