The Vintage Air GEN 5 SureFit climate control system is engineered for enhanced cooling performance in 1988-1992 Chevrolet Camaros equipped with factory air. This advanced system utilizes a fully electronic, microprocessor-controlled operation, eliminating traditional cables and vacuum connections for precise control. Each complete kit includes all components from the evaporator kit, along with under-hood essentials such as the compressor (with optional upgrades available), engine brackets, condenser with brackets, preformed refrigerant lines, drier, and necessary fittings and hardware. The system boasts features like separate high-capacity A/C and heater coils, a blend-air door for rapid temperature adjustment, and an OEM block-type expansion valve. The injection-molded case and blend-air doors with rubber seals ensure precision, strength, and quality, while removable access covers simplify coil servicing. Additionally, rubber well-nut mounting points help to isolate NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness). Installation instructions are provided. It is important to note that some installations may require additional engine pulleys that are not supplied with the kit.
