Gen 5 SureFit Electronic AC System

The Vintage Air SureFit Gen 5 AC System serves as a comprehensive climate control upgrade for 1967-68 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird vehicles that were originally equipped with factory air conditioning. The unit includes a high-capacity copper parallel-flow heat coil and an aluminum plate-and-fin cooling coil, paired with an injection-molded case and high-performance blower for reliable operation. This complete kit includes the evaporator assembly plus all under-hood components, including the compressor, engine brackets, condenser, preformed refrigerant lines, drier, fittings, and necessary hardware. It is specifically configured for compatibility with LS engine swaps in these classic platforms. Please note that successful installation requires user-provided pulleys, V-Belts (excluding LS models), heater hoses, and refrigerant. Some configurations may require additional engine pulleys not included in the package. The manufacturer recommends the use of a heavy-duty fan blade with a shroud or a compatible electric fan setup for optimal performance. Additionally, this system may interfere with certain OEM radio or in-dash speaker configurations.
