Gen 5 Twin-Screw Supercharger System

The Whipple WHP-ECOTEC3-SC Gen 5 Supercharger is engineered for GM LT1 direct injected engines, building on Whipple's extensive experience in twin-screw supercharging. This system features the latest technology, including record-setting 3.0L Gen 5 rotors with a 3x4 rotor combination for enhanced RPM capacity, increased airflow, and optimal sealing. It boasts an oversized Crusher™ 112mm inlet for maximum airflow and minimal rotor cavitation. This is complemented by an oversized, dual-pass heat exchanger and a high-flow intercooler pump, ensuring uncompromised cooling and power potential. The system also incorporates an intercooled bypass system that reduces tip-in knock and improves throttle response. Included with the supercharger is an HP Tuners RDT OBDII flash tool and a 50-state legal calibration. The kit comes complete with a 3-bar GM LT4 TMAP sensor, new spark plugs, a high-flow air filter, and an adjustable 6-rib billet belt system with a heavy-duty tensioner. This supercharger system is designed for 2014-2018 trucks and 2015-2020 SUVs. It specifically does not fit 2019-2023 truck or 2021-2023 SUV applications. Additionally, for 2017-2020 model years, the transmission is locked and requires an unlocking service from HP Tuners for custom calibration, though this is not required for proper operation.
