The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 Supercharger System is meticulously engineered for the 2018-2021 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L, offering a dramatic enhancement to performance and driving dynamics. This system transforms the vehicle with the instant torque and sharp throttle response characteristic of a high-performance twin-screw supercharger, pulling strongly through the entire RPM range. Manufactured and assembled at Whipple's facility in California, the WK-2625-S1-30 represents a complete, integrated package. It features the Gen 6 W185ax 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, designed for superior airflow and efficiency with its 3/4 rotor combination and 285-degree helix angle. This larger displacement unit moves more air with less effort, resulting in reduced discharge temperatures and parasitic loss compared to smaller roots-style systems. When running on 93-octane fuel, this kit is capable of delivering up to 750 flywheel horsepower and 640 foot-pounds of torque. The system is designed to integrate seamlessly, working with the factory stock throttle body while accommodating larger ones via its 150mm Crusher™ Roval inlet and matching high-flow air intake. Fueling is supported by billet fuel rails and high-flow injectors. For proper integration and optimal performance, the kit includes an HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool with Whipple calibration support, which tunes the PCM for fuel, spark, and throttle control. The cooling system utilizes Whipple's patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler, paired with an industry-leading heat exchanger, water reservoir, and pump, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. This advanced cooling setup surpasses that used in numerous high-performance applications. Whipple emphasizes that this kit requires no cutting or engine modifications for installation, aiming for a factory-installed appearance.
