The Whipple Superchargers Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 system is a comprehensive bolt-on upgrade for the 2018-2020 Ford F-150 equipped with the 5.0L engine. This kit is designed to deliver significant power gains, targeting up to 725 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel when using 93 octane fuel. It incorporates Whipple's advanced twin-screw supercharger technology, specifically the W185ax 3.0L unit, which offers increased displacement over smaller roots-type systems for lower power consumption and improved thermal efficiency. At the core of this system is Whipple's commitment to airflow and thermal management. The kit features an oversized Crusher™ air system paired with a unique Roval 150mm inlet, designed to work with the stock throttle body in the Stage 1 configuration while maximizing airflow and minimizing rotor cavitation. Thermal control is further enhanced by a patented dual-core, dual-pass intercooler system, the largest air-to-water bar-plate intercooler in the industry, an oversized aluminum intercooler reservoir, and a substantial heat exchanger, all working together with a high-flow intercooler pump to maintain lower air charge temperatures and ensure consistent performance. Included in the kit are essential components for a complete installation, such as 56 lb/hr fuel injectors and a 3-bar TMAP sensor. The system also comes with HP Tuners MPVI4 support, enabling users to load the Whipple calibration, perform diagnostics, read and clear codes, and adjust tire and axle settings. The PCM calibration is specifically developed to ensure powertrain safety and security, managing fuel, spark, knock detection, and transmission control for optimal drivability and performance.
