The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Supercharger Kit is engineered to significantly enhance the performance of 2023-2026 GM trucks featuring the 6.2L L87 V8 engine and Global B architecture. At its core is the Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, boasting an integrated Crusher™ 112mm inlet and a high-efficiency rotor design for optimal airflow and boost response. This complete system delivers substantial low-end torque and strong mid-range power, transforming the driving experience. This kit includes essential components such as fuel injectors, an LT4 3-bar TMAP sensor, and a comprehensive air-to-water intercooler system with a dual-pass heat exchanger. Whipple's integrated casting design minimizes adapters and potential leak points, reducing airflow restrictions for improved efficiency. The system supports the factory airbox, MAF sensor, and throttle body, ensuring OEM-like integration while providing gains of over 170 rear-wheel horsepower on qualifying applications. Installation requires an HP Tuners PCM unlock service prior to beginning, and a PCM compatibility check is recommended before ordering. The system necessitates premium fuel (91 octane or higher) and is not compatible with Flex Fuel or E85. Professional installation is recommended, and specific spark plugs (Denso ITV22 or NGK LTR7AIX-11 gapped to .032") are recommended.
