The Whipple WK-1200-SUV-30 is a comprehensive intercooled supercharger system engineered for GM direct-injected 5.3L engines in 2014-2018 trucks and 2015-2020 SUVs. This kit is designed to deliver a significant power increase of over 150 horsepower and 20 ft-lb of torque on 91-octane fuel, operating at a conservative 7-8 psi of boost. At the heart of this system is the W185ax Gen 6 Whipple twin-screw supercharger, boasting 3.0L of displacement and achieving 99% volumetric efficiency for maximum power potential. It features Whipple's patented dual-core, dual-pass air-to-water intercooler, which offers unmatched cooling capacity with 2 intercooler cores and a dual-pass design for the heat exchanger. This setup ensures uncompromised cooling and sustained power output. The system includes an HP Tuners RTD flash tool and calibration, providing a 50-state legal tune for stock vehicles or those with only a cat-back exhaust. It also comes with a 3-bar GM LT4 TMAP sensor, new spark plugs, a high-flow air filter, and an adjustable 6-rib billet belt system. All necessary hardware, including pre-formed and fitted hoses with plug-and-play wiring, is included for a straightforward installation, often manageable over a weekend without requiring major modifications or specialized tools.
