Gen 6 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger Kit

The Whipple Superchargers Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger kit is engineered to significantly enhance the driving experience of 2019-2022 GM trucks and SUVs featuring the 6.2L L87 V8 engine. This system delivers substantial improvements in low-end torque, throttle response, and overall pulling power, transforming the vehicle for daily use, towing, or performance driving. At the core of this kit is Whipple's Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, known for its excellent airflow and immediate boost response. The system is designed to provide up to 170 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque gains on qualifying applications. It features an integrated casting for minimized potential leaks and flow restrictions, a Crusher™ venturi-shaped inlet for maximum airflow, and a large air-to-water aluminum bar-plate intercooler for superior cooling capacity. The kit also includes an oversized heat exchanger, intercooler pump, and reservoir as part of a complete low-temperature cooling circuit to manage heat under demanding conditions. Installation is supported by the inclusion of necessary hardware for a complete bolt-on application. The system is designed to work with the factory air box, MAF sensor, and Whipple air inlet duct, while retaining the stock throttle body on 6.2L applications via supplied adapter hardware. Calibration support is provided for compatible Global A and Global B E90 and E93 PCM applications. Note that Global A PCM upgrades require the PCM to be unlocked, reinstalled, and tested before supercharger installation begins. This system requires premium fuel (91 octane or better) and is not compatible with Flex fuel/E85. Specific spark plugs (Denso ITV22 or NGK LTR7AIX-11 gapped to .032") are recommended. The kit is 50-state legal with CARB EO D-231-146.
