The Whipple Gen 6 3.0L supercharger kit is engineered to transform the personality of your 2019-2022 GM truck or SUV equipped with the 5.3L L84 V8 engine. This twin-screw system delivers immediate torque, sharper throttle response, and a broader power band, enhancing performance for daily driving, towing, and spirited use. At the heart of this kit is Whipple's Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, renowned for its efficient airflow and consistent torque delivery across the RPM range. The system is capable of producing up to 595 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque on 93-octane fuel, providing a substantial performance increase while maintaining expected drivability. To support this output, the kit includes an oversized air-to-water intercooler, a massive dual-pass heat exchanger, and a high-flow water pump to ensure consistent air charge temperatures even under load. This comprehensive bolt-on package also includes a high-flow intake manifold, an LT4 3-bar TMAP sensor, a billet idler plate, and an adjustable tensioner system. It is designed for stock-engine applications and comes with calibration support for HP Tuners E90 and E93 Global A PCM configurations. Premium fuel (91 octane or better) is required, and the supplied calibration is optimized for the factory air box, MAF sensor, and Whipple air inlet duct. Note that PCM unlock service is required before installation, and the calibration is intended for stock engines; long tubes, aftermarket air intakes, cams, and big throttle bodies are not supported with the supplied calibration.
