Gen 6 3.0L Twin-Screw Supercharger System

The Whipple Supercharger Kit is a Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw system meticulously engineered for 2019-2022 GM trucks and SUVs featuring the 6.2L L87 V8 engine. This upgrade promises to transform the driving experience by delivering enhanced low-end torque, sharper throttle response, and a more robust pull throughout the entire RPM range, making it suitable for daily driving, towing, and performance applications. Central to this system is Whipple's Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, renowned for its efficient airflow and immediate boost engagement. The kit is capable of producing gains of up to 170 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque on qualifying applications. The integrated design of the supercharger, featuring a Crusher™ venturi-shaped inlet, minimizes airflow restrictions and potential rotor cavitation, while its 112mm round inlet supports optional larger throttle bodies. To ensure consistent performance under load, the kit incorporates a high-flow intercooler, an oversized heat exchanger, an intercooler pump, and a reservoir, forming a complete low-temperature cooling circuit. The massive air-to-water aluminum bar-plate intercooler provides excellent cooling capacity, helping to reduce air charge temperatures and allow for more boost and timing on premium pump gas. Additionally, an oversized intercooled air-bypass system aids in burst-knock reduction and can improve fuel economy. The system is designed for a complete bolt-on installation and includes calibration support for compatible Global A and Global B E90 and E93 PCM applications. It is important to note that Global A PCM upgrades require the PCM to be unlocked and reinstalled before supercharger installation can begin. The kit is 50-state legal (CARB EO D-231-146) and requires premium fuel (91 octane or better). Flex fuel / E85 is not supported. Denso ITV22 or NGK LTR7AIX-11 spark plugs gapped to .032" are recommended, along with 3.0 to 3.5 oz of Whipple SC oil for the W185FF compressor.
