The Whipple Gen 6 3.8L inverted hot rod supercharger kit is engineered for dedicated racing and custom hot rod applications using the 2011–2026 Ford Coyote 5.0L engine (Gen 1-Gen 4). This kit features Whipple's latest twin-screw rotor technology, optimized port geometry, and a reinforced housing for higher RPM operation and reduced parasitic losses, resulting in responsive power and improved efficiency. The system includes a massive 132mm oval front-feed inlet and an integrated triple-pass intercooler designed to provide consistent intake air temperature control under extended high-load operation, ensuring repeatable performance in race environments. The inverted configuration offers packaging flexibility for custom chassis applications while accommodating the large intercooler core and inlet tract. Components such as a 3.8L Whipple Gen 6 twin-screw supercharger, integrated triple-pass intercooler system, and mounting hardware are included. Heat exchanger, intercooler plumbing, fuel system, and tuning are not included and are required for installation. A custom dyno tune is mandatory after installation. It is crucial to note that this product is intended solely for use on vehicles in sanctioned competition that may never be used upon a public road or highway, unless specifically permitted by regulatory exemption. This applies particularly to vehicles registered in California, where it is legal only for racing vehicles not intended for highway use.
