Description

Brian Tooley Racing's GEN IV 07-13 GM Truck Basic DOD/AFM Delete Kit provides essential components for removing the factory Displacement on Demand (DOD) or Active Fuel Management (AFM) system, a common point of failure in LS-based engines. It includes a Gen IV Non-AFM Valley Cover, four GM Lifter Tray Guides, and pairs of MLS Headgaskets suitable for 5.3L, 6.0L, or 6.2L engine displacements. Additionally, it contains a full set of 16 LS7-Style Lifters, a BTR 2004+ LSx Head Bolt Kit, and a pair of BTR LSx MLS Header Gaskets. Important considerations for installation include that these kits are exclusively for 07-13 GM Truck applications, with potential fitment on some 2014 SUVs. This kit is not compatible with the OE DOD camshaft and *must* be paired with a non-DOD camshaft. Furthermore, electronic tuning is required to properly disable the DOD/AFM system after installation. This kit does not address or delete the VVT system.
