This kit offers true bi-level, infinitely adjustable comfort with variable blower speed and dash/floor/defrost blend capabilities. The Gen IV Magnum kit contains the evaporator unit, mounting brackets, wiring harness, electric servo heater control valve, duct hoses, and installation instructions.

The Vintage Air Gen IV Magnum system delivers OEM-quality climate control, providing true bi-level, infinitely adjustable comfort in your classic car or truck. Its unique shape allows for fitment in vehicles with higher transmission tunnels and stepped firewalls, such as cars from the 1950s and later. The Gen IV is Vintage Air's most powerful and intelligent climate control system, utilizing an exclusive, fully electronic microprocessor control system that eliminates cables or vacuum connections. It features separate, high-capacity copper parallel-flow heat coils and aluminum plate-and-fin cooling coils for outstanding performance and instant temperature adjustments. Additional features include variable blower speed and a dash/floor/defrost blend. The system employs fully electronic servo stepper motors for infinite air adjustment and includes a Spal high-performance, variable-speed blower motor. A positive-shut-off solenoid-operated heater control valve is included for use in Max A/C mode. This kit includes the evaporator unit and mounting brackets, a wiring harness, an electric servo heater control valve, duct hoses, and detailed installation instructions. Please note that controls are ordered separately, and components such as the compressor, compressor mounting bracket, condenser, hose kit, and drier are also ordered separately. A mock-up unit (671450) is available to ensure proper fitment.
