Gen IV Truck DOD/AFM Conversion Camshaft Kit

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) Gen IV LS 07-13 Truck DOD/AFM Conversion Kit provides a comprehensive solution for removing the problematic Active Fuel Management (AFM) lifter system from your GM LS truck engine. This kit is engineered for 2007-2013 Gen IV LS engines, commonly found in Silverado, Sierra, and other GM trucks, and is designed to eliminate a common failure point in these powertrains. The kit can be configured to include a range of essential components for the conversion. These include, but are not limited to: valley cover, head bolts or studs, head gaskets, header/exhaust manifold gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, valve cover gaskets, valley cover gaskets, cam retainer plate, cam retainer bolts, and a balancer bolt. For a complete solution, the kit can also be bundled with a Throttle Republic RTD4 tuning device, enabling you to remove the AFM/DOD functionality entirely. It is important to note that the BTR10141 valley cover gasket is not compatible with the factory DOD/AFM valley cover. Installation of this kit often requires additional components and tuning. The optional RTD4 tuning device, when included, facilitates the removal of AFM/DOD functionality. Users should be aware that some late platforms may require an additional unlock cable, credits, or an ECM ship-in unlock.
