The DSX Tuning flex fuel kit provides a direct plug-and-play solution for integrating flex fuel capability into Gen IV and Gen V GM V8 vehicles. This system empowers your vehicle to run on a spectrum of fuels, from pure gasoline to pure ethanol, unlocking significant performance gains, particularly in forced induction applications. By allowing seamless transitions between fuel types, the kit eliminates the need for manual fuel content monitoring or ECU reflashing, enabling you to maximize your setup's potential. This kit includes a genuine GM Flex Fuel sensor, a plumbing kit constructed from corrosion-resistant materials for simplified installation, and a plug-and-play wiring harness featuring OEM connectors and terminals. A DSX Tuning 3D-printed fuel line disconnect is also provided for convenience. While the kit can be installed without immediate tuning, the ability to switch fuels and realize performance benefits requires activation in the ECM through HP Tuners or EFILive software.
