GEN V 220 Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) Gen V 220 Camshaft is engineered for performance enthusiasts seeking enhanced power and drivability. This hydraulic roller camshaft boasts a 220/23X duration, 0.644 inches of valve lift (with factory rocker arms), and a 113-degree lobe separation, making it suitable for street/strip applications. It also features a 32% fuel lobe for optimized efficiency. This camshaft is part of a comprehensive kit that includes a BTR .650 Lift Conical Valve Spring Kit, BTR Hardened Pushrods, a BTR 4 Degree VVT Limiter and Cam Motion Phaser Tool, CBI Street Cars DOD/AFM Plugs, BTR Delphi LT Lifters, BTR Lifter Trays, Chevy Performance Gen V LT1 Head Gaskets, a BTR Gen V Head Bolt Kit, and BTR Gen V Header Gaskets. The kit facilitates the removal of DOD/AFM/DFM systems. Installation requires custom tuning, either through remote options or by visiting a local dyno shop. A new crankshaft bolt is also required, and a cam install kit is highly recommended as the camshaft bolt can only be reused a limited number of times. For L83 applications, the pistons must be fly-cut to accommodate this camshaft grind, and DOD delete is necessary, requiring cylinder head removal.
