Gen V Stage 3 Supercharged Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing (BTR) Gen V Stage 3 Supercharged Camshaft is engineered for customers building aggressive street/strip 5.3L - 6.2L supercharged combos using centrifugal or PDS superchargers. This camshaft is not for the faint of heart, delivering explosive midrange and top-end power gains, capable of reaching up to 7000 rpm and beyond depending on other engine modifications. The aggressive idle signals the serious performance potential of this camshaft. Developed in-house and Spintron/Engine Dyno tested, BTR's new lobe designs aim to maximize the power curve while maintaining valvetrain stability and durability. With a lift of .648"/.648" and a 113 LSA, this camshaft requires the use of BTR dual or conical spring kits due to its high valve lift and increased RPM potential. Hardened pushrods are also recommended for power adder applications. For optimal drivability, an aftermarket converter is advised. This camshaft includes a 38% fuel lobe and is designed to be locked out, with BTR recommending their VVT lockout bushing. Crucially, this camshaft requires flycutting the pistons when used in an L83 application. It is designed for Gen V LT engines with centrifugal and PDS superchargers and is compatible with 5.3L - 6.2L engine displacements.
