Gen V Stage 3 Supercharged Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

The BTR Gen V Stage 3 Supercharged Camshaft is engineered for customers building aggressive street/strip 5.3L to 6.2L Gen V LT supercharged combinations, specifically for centrifugal and PDS superchargers. This camshaft is not for the faint of heart, promising explosive midrange and top-end power that can extend beyond 7000 rpm depending on other engine modifications. Its aggressive idle signals the significant performance upgrade. Developed in-house by BTR, this camshaft features advanced lobe designs that have undergone Spintron and Engine Dyno testing. The testing process focused on achieving the highest possible power curve while rigorously maintaining strict valvetrain stability and durability standards. Due to its high valve lift (.648"/.648") and increased RPM potential, the use of BTR dual or conical spring kits is mandatory. For power adder applications, hardened pushrods are also recommended. For optimal drivability, an aftermarket torque converter will be necessary. This camshaft includes a 38% fuel lobe and is designed to be locked out, with BTR recommending their VVT lockout bushing. IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: This camshaft requires flycutting the pistons when used in an L83 application.
