The CTS Turbo CAST Turbo Muffler Delete is a high-flow part for Gen1 EA888 2.0TSI engines with a stock turbo. It is a one-piece, CNC-machined aluminum design that replaces the restrictive OEM turbo muffler. Removing this part can increase horsepower by 6-7HP and improve throttle response. The installation is straightforward, taking approximately 30 minutes with hand tools.

The CTS Turbo Cast Muffler Delete is engineered specifically for the Gen1 2.0T TSI EA888.1 engine. This component replaces the restrictive factory turbo muffler with a one-piece, CNC-machined cast aluminum design, maximizing flow from your turbocharger. By removing the factory restriction, this muffler delete can contribute to a 6-7 HP gain and an improvement in throttle response. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in approximately 30 minutes using basic hand tools. This part is compatible only with the factory turbo on Gen1 TSI engines and works with any turbo outlet pipe, whether stock or aftermarket. It is explicitly NOT for MQB vehicles.
