The Garrett GEN2 GTX3582R turbocharger represents a significant advancement in turbocharging technology, engineered for enthusiasts seeking to maximize their engine's output. This unit boasts an advanced GEN2 billet compressor wheel, renowned for its aerodynamics and ultra-high flow capabilities, capable of supporting up to 850 horsepower. Key to its performance is the dual ball bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA), which provides superior durability, efficiency, and responsiveness compared to traditional journal bearing turbos. The compressor specifications include a 66mm inducer, 82mm exducer, and a 64 trim, paired with a T04S frame compressor housing featuring a 4-inch inlet and a 2.5-inch outlet. The turbine side is equipped with a divided 1.06 A/R T4 housing with a 3-inch GT V-Band exit and an 81mm centering groove, utilizing a 68mm inducer and 62mm exducer with an 84 trim turbine wheel. Installation of this turbocharger requires specific hardware, including an oil feed fitting (OIL-021), an oil drain flange (FLA-010), and a gasket (GSK-008). For exhaust manifold connection, a T4 Divided Inlet Flange (FLS-057) and gasket (GSK-014) are necessary. For the downpipe connection, a 3-inch GT V-Band Outlet Flange (FLS-246) and a matching clamp (CLA-048) are provided.
