GEN2 PnP ECU Engine Management System

The MegaSquirt Gen2 PnP ECU (MSPNP2-EEC4B8) provides advanced engine control for the 1994-1995 Ford Mustang GT with manual transmission. Pre-loaded base maps for fuel and ignition ensure a quick engine start. This ECU offers significant tuning flexibility with 16x16 fuel tables and 12x12 ignition tables, along with multiple acceleration enrichment strategies and closed-loop idle speed control. It features onboard peak and hold drivers, eliminating the need for external ballast resistors for both high and low impedance injectors. The system supports aftermarket wideband sensors for precise tuning with 12x12 Air Fuel Ratio target tables and can read up to 44 PSI of boost via its internal 4-bar MAP sensor, including overboost protection and closed-loop boost control (requires a boost solenoid kit). Additional features include programmable fan control, a built-in 2-step rev limiter and launch control with flat shifting, real-time barometric correction, and a knock sensor input with adjustable sensitivity and headphone output for tuning. Table switching input allows for on-the-fly map changes, and a flex fuel sensor input enables switching between E85 and gasoline. The CANBus connector facilitates integration with other MegaSquirt-compatible devices for expanded functionality. The ECU mounts in the stock location and allows for the removal of the stock MAF sensor if equipped.
