The Precision Gen2 PT6870 is a high-performance, ball-bearing turbocharger engineered for significant power gains in custom forced-induction setups, supporting up to 1100 horsepower. It utilizes a state-of-the-art 7-blade Competition Engineered Aerodynamics (CEA) 2618 forged aluminum compressor wheel to maximize efficiency and flow, paired with a robust 70.21mm exducer turbine wheel. Designed as a universal-fit component, this turbocharger includes a 68.02mm compressor wheel inducer and is configured with an HP compressor cover and a T4 divided inlet with a v-band outlet. The unit is air-cooled, ensuring stable operation under high thermal loads common in competitive racing environments. Installation requires specific attention to fluid management, utilizing a 1/8" NPT oil feed and an M8-1.25 oil drain bolt. Precision Turbo & Engine recommends using specific drain flanges and gaskets to ensure proper seal and longevity. As a universal performance part, professional installation and associated system tuning are recommended to safely achieve the advertised power potential.
