The Seems Legit Garage SLG - Gen2 Transmission Adapter is a lightweight, precision-machined component crafted from 6061 billet aluminum, designed to seamlessly join BMW transmissions with a 1-piece driveshaft yoke. This adapter offers a robust solution to replace the factory guibo (flex disc) with a stronger, lighter, and more durable custom single-piece driveshaft, ideal for performance applications where reliability is paramount. The adapter is meticulously engineered with exacting tolerances to ensure a vibration-free operation. It works with manual, automatic, and DCT BMW transmissions and includes all necessary hardware for installation. Weighing only 12.6 ounces, it contributes to keeping rotational mass low, and its design was dynamically balanced using software during the development phase. The adapter features tapered bolt hole flanges for a snug fit into the output flange, which helps relieve stress on the bolts. Two sizes are available to accommodate different BMW transmissions. The 'Small' version features a 105mm bolt circle and fits transmissions like the 135i/335i (N54/N55, and some Diesel versions), and B58-based 8HP transmissions. The 'Large' version has a 110mm bolt circle and is compatible with a wider range of transmissions, including those found in the E9x M3 and F8x M2/M3/M4 models. This adapter is designed to work with SPICER #3-2-119 and equivalent yokes. All hardware is included for a straightforward installation process.
