Gen3R 2.65L TVS Supercharger Head Unit

The VMP Performance Gen3R is a 2.65L TVS supercharger head unit engineered to provide massive power potential for high-horsepower builds. Developed in collaboration with Magnuson Superchargers, the unit features an entirely new casting design with a 'waffle' pattern that enhances housing rigidity, enabling the rotors to operate reliably at speeds exceeding 25,000 RPMs with tighter clearances. Optimized for airflow, the Gen3R features a redesigned inlet with a standard throttle body bolt pattern, eliminating the need for adapters required by previous iterations. The internal bypass valve has been repositioned to reduce plenum restriction, further contributing to higher horsepower and torque outputs. VMP has also refined the casting with increased bolt clearance and a revised EGR pad to simplify the installation process. Proper operation of this supercharger requires specific supporting modifications, including an appropriate fuel system (such as E85), a compatible intake system, and an engine tune. Users should note that hardware packs, such as those for the GT500, may be labeled for closed-course competition use only and are not intended for street use. This supercharger supports a wide range of throttle bodies, including stock, VMP twin 67mm/69mm, Cobra Jet twin 65mm, and VMP 137mm monoblade units. For larger options like the VMP 160mm/173mm or Kenne Bell 168mm monoblade units, a special VMP throttle body adapter is required. Note that a special included throttle body gasket must be used due to the unique seating dimensions of the Gen3R opening.
