Overview

The VMP Gen3R is a 2.65L TVS supercharger kit designed for 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT models with the 5.0L engine. This complete system includes a head unit, Twinjet 69mm throttle body, 125mm intake, fuel injectors, a fuel pump booster, and a dual-fan triple-pass heat exchanger to support power levels up to 850 HP and 700 ft-lb of torque.

The VMP Gen3R is a 2.65L TVS supercharger kit engineered to provide significant power gains for the 2015-2017 Mustang GT 5.0L. The system features advanced port technology and inlet design, maintaining stock-like driveability while providing the scalability to support builds ranging from 675 to over 1,200 rear-wheel horsepower depending on pulley configuration and supporting modifications. This complete kit includes the Gen3R head unit, a cast aluminum lower intake manifold with integrated charge air cooler, a 125mm air intake, VMP Twinjet 69mm throttle body, Ford Performance 56lb injectors, and a plug-and-play fuel pump booster. Cooling is handled by a VMP dual-fan triple-pass heat exchanger and dedicated low-temp radiator system. A heavy-duty FEAD system with all required idlers, tensioners, and brackets is included for reliable operation. Every kit includes VMP custom tuning support with datalog review and adjustment. Installation is estimated at 8-12 hours. Note that this kit is not approved for sale or installation in California or any other states requiring an EO number. Performance ratings vary based on fuel quality, with 93 octane recommended for optimal output. Please consult VMP regarding specific tuning and fuel requirements for E85 or higher-boost applications.
