The BlackBoost Generation 2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered for Mercedes-Benz AMG enthusiasts seeking enhanced power and efficiency. This system boasts laser-cut, high-strength aluminum airboxes, finished with a durable black powder coating and assembled using stainless steel fasteners. It includes a custom-engineered engine cover for both protection and a refined aesthetic. Equipped with newly designed twin oval high-flow synthetic dry air filters, the system offers a larger filtration surface area for superior airflow and filtration. The intake features molded composite tubes with integrated 1/8th NPT pre-turbo methanol ports, allowing for easy methanol injection upgrades to reduce intake temperatures and optimize airflow. Oversized inlet ducts and heat-resistant couplers are included to maximize performance and ensure durability. It supports airflow for builds exceeding 1000 WHP and provides proven gains of 8-30+ HP on stock vehicles, along with improved throttle response. No check engine light (CEL) is triggered. Please note: This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle. This intake system is compatible with various Mercedes-Benz CLS550, CLS63 AMG, CLS63 AMG S, E550, and E63 AMG models from 2012-2017, specifically those equipped with M157 and M278 engines.
