This kit is designed as a direct replacement, ensuring straightforward installation. This kit includes a M Performance Muffler, M Performance Decal Kit, stick-on labels and badges, a performance BMW software upgrade code, and a wiring harness. Upon installation, an immediate improvement in the low to mid-range powerband is noticeable. The kit increases your vehicle’s power by 35 hp, bringing it to 355hp, and adds 39 lb-ft of torque, reaching 369 lb-ft (or 355 lb-ft for manual transmission vehicles). The electronically controlled valve exhaust system is actuated in Sport/Sport+ modes via the driving experience control button for maximum performance and exhilaration. After ordering this kit, it is necessary to take it to your BMW dealer to have the ECU re-flashed and all components installed. The included muffler must also be used with specific BMW exhaust tips, available separately in Carbon Fiber or Chrome finishes. Dealer pricing for installation will vary; it is recommended to contact your dealer for installation costs before purchasing. This Power and Sound Kit is specifically designed for the 2017-2019 BMW 340i GT xDrive (F34 chassis with B58 3.0L engine). Some sources indicate that this kit does NOT fit the 2019 BMW 340iX.
