The BMW Genuine Parts fuel pump assembly, part number 16116755043, is a direct replacement for the original component in select BMW X5 models. Manufactured by Delphi, an OEM supplier, this assembly ensures proper fuel system operation. It comes with a fuel level sending unit and is backed by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty. This fuel pump is designed for the BMW X5 E53 chassis, specifically for the 3.0i (2001-2006), 4.4i (2000-2006), and 4.6is (2002-2003) models. It is noted as being the right/passenger side fuel pump. It is important to note that this part does not fit the BMW 530e Base 2.0L L4. Ensure proper diagnosis of the fuel system before replacing the pump, as other electrical issues or contamination can cause similar symptoms. Pumps that have been installed cannot be returned.
