The Genuine BMW Rear Subframe Bushing, also known as a subframe mount, is a critical component of the rear suspension system. It serves as the physical mounting point for the rear subframe to the vehicle's chassis while also absorbing vibrations and allowing for necessary flexibility. This direct-fit replacement ensures proper function and helps prevent costly chassis damage that can result from worn mounts. This bushing is specifically described as the "Aft/Rearmost bushing" and is made of rubber, as is typical for Genuine BMW OE applications. Two of these mounts are required per vehicle, located in the rear section of the subframe. Symptoms of worn subframe mounts can include clunks, increased vibrations (NVH), handling issues, and difficulty maintaining alignment. This Genuine BMW part is manufactured to the brand's stringent standards, ensuring the same quality and fitment as the original part installed on your vehicle.
