GenV ProGate WG50CG External Wastegate

The MODE Auto Concepts GenV ProGate WG50CG Compressed Gas external wastegate is a high-performing 50mm unit engineered for control strategies that utilize compressed gas or C02 for large boost bandwidth operation. Its inverted diaphragm is specifically suited for high-pressure C02 or compressed air systems and handles significant pressure differentials. Constructed with a high-temperature 347 SS body and a Nitronic 60 valve guide, the GenV ProGate WG50CG ensures durability and longevity. It features class-leading thermal performance, CFD-optimized and bench-validated flow performance, and exceptional fatigue resistance. The wastegate includes a rotatable/clock-able actuator housing for flexible reference hose routing, strap-type V-band clamps, and 1/8″ NPT reference ports. Optional liquid actuator cooling and a position sensor are available separately. This wastegate is designed as a direct fit upgrade for all Gen4 Turbosmart wastegates. It comes supplied with the unit, all springs (3 and 5 PSI base options included), a locking collar tool, SS316 valve seat, strap-type V-bands, inlet and outlet weld flanges, and a hose tail and blank fitting kit. External wastegates are typically used on turbocharged vehicles that do not have an internal wastegate actuator. In most cases, they are custom-fitted items requiring modifications to the factory exhaust manifold or a custom-manufactured manifold. The GenV range represents the 5th generation of Turbosmart external wastegates, incorporating features like rotating actuator housing and multi-angle machined valve seats.
