Overview

The Trick Flow GenX 215 cylinder head is a CNC competition ported, assembled cylinder head designed for GM LS1 engines. It features 64cc CNC chambers, titanium retainers, and a hydraulic roller camshaft style. The intake runner volume is 215cc, with an exhaust runner volume of 80cc. This cast aluminum head has cathedral intake port shapes and standard intake/exhaust port locations.

The Trick Flow® GenX® 215 Cylinder Heads are designed to significantly increase the performance of GM 5.7L LS1 engines. These fully CNC-machined heads feature altered valve angles from 15° to 13.5° to reduce valve shrouding, enhance mid-lift airflow, and improve rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Trick Flow engineers added material at the rocker arm mounting points for increased valvetrain stability at high RPMs. Constructed from cast aluminum, these heads boast 215cc CNC competition ported intake runners with a premium high-resolution surface finish for maximum flow. They feature 64cc CNC-machined heart-style combustion chambers with relocated spark plugs to further enhance mid-lift airflow and rigidity for extreme horsepower applications. The heads include assembled components such as 2.040-inch intake valves, 1.575-inch exhaust valves, dual valve springs with titanium retainers, and 7-degree locks, supporting a maximum valve lift of 0.650 inches. These cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines. They are recommended for use on engines with a minimum bore diameter of 3.900 inches and must be used with roller rocker arms; Harland Sharp SLS17 roller rocker arms are specifically recommended. The cylinder heads are sold individually.
