GenX 220 GM LS2 Aluminum Cylinder Head

The Trick Flow GenX 220 is an assembled aluminum cylinder head engineered for GM 6.0L LS2 engines, offering a significant upgrade for performance applications. This head features a 65cc combustion chamber volume that is CNC-machined for precision, alongside 220cc intake runners and 80cc exhaust runners designed to optimize airflow. The heart-style combustion chamber and cathedral port intake shape, combined with standard port locations, facilitate efficient gas flow. Key components included with this cylinder head are intake valves measuring 2.040 inches and exhaust valves measuring 1.575 inches, both designed for enhanced performance. It also comes with dual valve springs capable of handling up to 0.650 inches of maximum valve lift, and titanium retainers for durability and weight savings. The head design includes features like 13.5° valve angles, reduced valve shrouding, and relocated spark plugs to improve combustion efficiency and mid-lift airflow. The Fast As Cast® runner design mimics the flow characteristics of fully CNC-ported runners, providing near-CNC performance at a more accessible cost. This Trick Flow GenX 220 cylinder head is designed for optimal fitment on LS2 engines and requires the use of roller rocker arms. It is emissions-legal under California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles with 5.7L and 6.0L engines. The cylinder head is sold individually and is constructed from cast aluminum with a natural finish, featuring bronze valve guides and ductile iron valve seats.
