GenX 225 65cc CNC Competition Ported Cylinder Head

The Trick Flow GenX® 225 cylinder heads are engineered for GM LS2 engines, offering significant performance increases for LS2-powered vehicles. These fully CNC-machined heads feature altered valve angles (from 15° to 13.5°) to reduce valve shrouding, enhance mid-lift airflow, and provide better rocker arm-to-valve cover clearance. Material has been strategically added at the rocker arm mounting points to ensure stability in high-rpm valvetrain applications. The relocated spark plugs within the CNC-profiled combustion chambers further improve mid-lift airflow and reinforce the casting for extreme horsepower demands. The runners boast a premium, high-resolution surface finish for maximum flow and performance. Constructed from cast aluminum with 225cc intake runners and 80cc exhaust runners, these cylinder heads are designed for use with hydraulic roller camshafts. They feature cathedral intake port shapes and oval exhaust port shapes with standard locations. The assembled heads include intake valves (2.055 in.), exhaust valves (1.575 in.), dual valve springs capable of up to 0.650 in. lift, chromoly steel retainers, 7-degree locks, and valve stem seals. Valve guides are made of bronze, and the ductile iron valve seats are machined with a 3-angle style. These heads are compatible with centerbolt valve covers and have accessory bolt holes drilled. Note that rocker arm studs, rocker arms, rocker arm nuts, and guideplates are not included. It is important to note that these heads must be used with roller rocker arms; Harland Sharp SLS17 roller rocker arms are recommended. They are intended for engines with a minimum bore diameter of 4.000 inches. These Trick Flow GenX 225 cylinder heads are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 1997-present GM vehicles equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L engines. They are sold individually.
