GenX 260 Assembled Cylinder Head

The Trick Flow GenX 260 Cylinder Heads are engineered for GM LS-based engine blocks with a minimum bore diameter of 4.100 inches. These heads are not designed as a direct stock replacement but offer significant performance enhancements. Constructed from A356-T61 aluminum castings, these cylinder heads are designed for increased rigidity and strength. They feature CNC-competition-ported runners with a high-resolution surface finish for improved airflow and performance across the entire powerband. The heads include a 70cc combustion chamber volume and 260cc intake runner volume, with 87cc exhaust runner volume. They come fully assembled with 2.200-inch intake valves, 1.600-inch exhaust valves, dual valve springs rated up to 0.650-inch lift, chromoly steel retainers, 7-degree locks, and valve stem seals. The valve cover mounting style is centerbolt. Integration of modular, one-piece, 2024-T4 billet aluminum rocker arm mounts allows for removability for high-end shaft rocker setups. These heads also offer the option for 6-bolt per cylinder clamping for GMPP LSX and aftermarket blocks, clearance for 3/8-inch pushrods, and through-deck coolant holes for compatibility with all GM LS gasket and block combinations. Trick Flow's Trick-Alloy powdered-metal valve guides and solid stem valves contribute to durability. The heads maintain factory intake and exhaust port locations, valve angles, and valve locations, ensuring compatibility with existing LS7-based pistons. They are emissions-legal under CARB E.O. #D-747 for 2006-present GM vehicles with 7.0L engines. These cylinder heads are sold individually and require a minimum bore diameter of 4.100 inches. They include new rocker arm rail mounts compatible with LS7 1.8 ratio rocker arms; OEM rocker arm rail mounts will not work with these heads.
