GESi 3" Catted Downpipe

The COBB Tuning GESi Catted 3" Downpipe is meticulously engineered to elevate your vehicle's performance by enhancing airflow and minimizing exhaust back pressure. Its design incorporates a CAD-engineered cast bellmouth, which ensures a smooth and efficient transition for exhaust gases exiting the turbocharger's turbine housing. This design effectively reduces turbulence and prevents excessive back-pressure. The downpipe also features a cast housing with a COBB logo and an auxiliary O2 bung, offering versatility for installing a wideband sensor early in the exhaust system. Constructed from corrosion-resistant, mandrel-bent 3" 304 stainless steel tubing, this downpipe channels exhaust gases into a COBB-exclusive GESi 300-cell high-flow catalytic converter. A second O2 bung is strategically placed after the catalytic converter, designed for the OEM Rear O2 sensor. The downpipe utilizes a CAD-designed, cast 304 stainless steel flange for durability, minimizing warping during installation. It includes a stainless adapter flange and an MLS gasket for direct compatibility with the factory exhaust or a COBB Cat-Back Exhaust system using the OEM donut gasket. COBB proprietary shoulder nuts are also provided for easy installation of factory spring bolts. This downpipe requires tuning changes. COBB offers Off-The-Shelf (OTS) map support for some vehicles; users should check available maps for their specific car. Additionally, this part is undergoing external testing for EO approval and is NOT LEGAL FOR SALE OR USE IN CALIFORNIA ON ANY EMISSION-CONTROLLED MOTOR VEHICLE. While COBB believes these parts comply with EPA’s Anti-Tampering Policy, the CARB EO submission process has not yet been completed.
