GESI 5" G-Sport UHO+ 400cpsi Catalytic Converter

The Unitronic Performance Downpipe is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for 1.8 TSI MQB EA888.3 AWD vehicles, aiming to significantly reduce restrictions in the factory downpipe. This reduction in restriction helps to decrease turbo lag and enhance the overall exhaust note. Central to its design is the inclusion of a GESI 5” G-Sport Ultra High Output (UHO+) 400cpsi catalytic converter, developed in partnership with Unitronic and Global Emissions Systems Inc. (GESi). The downpipe features robust TIG-welded construction and maintains the factory oxygen sensor provision for seamless integration. It also incorporates an OEM-style corrugated mesh flex bellow for enhanced durability and flexibility. This downpipe is a key component for achieving maximum power gains when paired with Unitronic Stage 2 Performance Software and other supporting modifications. Hardware included consists of the downpipe assembly, V-band clamps and centering rings, a stainless steel midpipe section, and a stainless steel exhaust reducer. Reducers are available to accommodate both factory and upgraded cat-back exhaust systems. Fitment is specified for a range of VW models including the Alltrack Mk7 (2017-2019) 1.8T, Golf/GTI Mk7.5 (2018-2021) Sportwagen 1.4T 4Motion and 1.8T 4Motion, Mk7 Golf R (2015-2017) 2.0T, and Mk7.5 Golf R (2018-2021) 2.0T.
