GESI Catted Downpipe

The COBB Tuning GESI Catted Downpipe is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory downpipe on the 2007-2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 MZR DISI 2.3T with a manual transmission. This component features a bellmouth entry for a smooth transition from the turbocharger outlet to the downpipe, which significantly reduces backpressure. The downpipe incorporates a high-flow GESI (Government Emissions Specification) catalytic converter, ensuring emissions compliance while also offering substantially less exhaust flow restriction compared to the factory unit. This design contributes to improved turbocharger efficiency and quicker boost onset, delivering noticeable performance gains. Constructed from durable 304 stainless steel, this downpipe is designed to integrate seamlessly with Cobb Accessport Mazdaspeed3 Stage 2 OTS maps. While not strictly required for installation, tuning is highly recommended to maximize the benefits of this performance modification.
